Sweden: Spirits of a Nation highlights aspects of drinking culture that we all recognize—whether you drink or not. Come along and discover traditional Swedish drinking songs and how alcohol shapes identity, norms, attitudes, and values.
With this exhibition, we aim to activate all your senses and memories. Test your ability to distinguish between whiskey and rum aged in barrels. Learn more about Swedish alcohol production, including rules and restrictions. And finish your experience with a tasting tray at the bar featuring three schnapps and a punsch (a traditional Swedish liqueur made from arrack, sugar, and spices).
