This caravan night is a sensory time capsule – tucked inside the Sweden: Spirits of a nation exhibition. Here, we recreate the cramped spaces, the cozy corners and the surprisingly festive atmosphere. Herring and snaps, pork shoulder and strawberry cake are served – with maybe a round of Skitgubbe (a Swedish card game where no one wants to be the “crappy old man”), Uno or Fia med knuff (“Ludo with a friendly shove”) in between. With Happy Camper, we celebrate Swedish drinking culture in its most midsummery form – scented with disposable grills, plastic flooring and good company. A night where every flavour sparks a memory.
