Happy Camper is a nostalgic dinner experience where you and your friends are invited to a Swedish adventure – right at the heart of the museum.
Happy Camper is an evening of food, fun, and friendship where you and your guests step into a real caravan, tune in to classic Swedish hits on the radio, and enjoy a three-course dinner inspired by camping trips, folk parks, and midsummer celebrations. Naturally, each dish is paired with carefully selected drinks.
This caravan evening is a sensory time capsule, set right in the middle of the permanent exhibition Spirits of a Nation. Here, the cozy, cramped, and unexpectedly festive atmosphere of traditional Swedish summer life is recreated. You’ll be served herring and schnapps, pork shoulder, and strawberry cake. Between courses, why not play a round of cards or a classic board game like Uno or Ludo?
With Happy Camper, we celebrate Swedish drinking culture in its most summery form – infused with the scent of barbecue, plastic table cloths, and togetherness. An evening where every taste sparks a memory.
