Stockholm during the 1920’s and 30’s – A time when spirits were under strict state control, but at the same time the most sought-after consumer good. Home burning, smuggling and peddling of alcohol were seen as some of the biggest social problems in Sweden, but that didn’t stop the people from seeking out what they wanted. The more restrictions, the more desirable the spirits became, and the black market flooded the country with illegal spirits.
For the famous guests at the well known speak-easy Grotta Azzurra in Östermalm, the illegal partying lead to a deadly outcome.
Four people are found dead at the nightclub, where drinks and cocktails were generously served and parties went on to early mornings. But who is the culprit, that supplied the guests with poisonous alcohol? Look for clues in Spritmuseum’s exhibition True Crime and solve the riddle before time runs out.
Grotta Azzurra – Death as your host is this summer’s puzzle detective event at Spritmuseum, led and produced by game director and crime novel writer Anders Danell. Dress up and bring the story to life under the guidance of the game director.
