A QUICK NOTE ON APPLE MUST

Apple must is made from 100% pressed apples, always alcohol-free and with no additives – not even sugar.

The drink has a long tradition in Sweden. As early as the 1500s, apple orchards were found at castles and royal estates. Much of the fruit was pressed into must, enjoyed fresh or fermented into apple wine for longer shelf life.

The Gravensteiner variety arrived in Sweden in the 1700s, originally from Gråsten in southern Denmark. It ripens slowly and is perfect for both eating and pressing.

FLAVOUR & AROMA

Kivik Gravensteiner Apple Must is a pure apple juice made only from Gravensteiner apples, with a fresh, fruity flavour and notes of citrus and honey.

A light astringency from the skins adds structure, and the high acidity gives a crisp, refreshing finish.
