- Head to the large wine fridge at the far end of the room.

A QUICK NOTE ON BLUEBERRY JUICE
Blueberries have a long history in Swedish food and drink.
When sugar became more affordable in the 20th century, people began preserving the berries in juices, soups, and even in “sun wine” – blueberries, sugar and water left to ferment in sunny windows.
In the 1950s and ’60s, blueberry drinks were seen as health tonics, packed with vitamins – long before antioxidants became a trend. These juices were often sold locally, in glass bottles at village shops.
