We are now launching the Walking Tasting at the Museum of Spirits! During one hour you have a chance to dive into Swedish drinking history through a guided tour, and with an in-depth look at (and taste of!) period-typical drinks that are all connected to the Swedish drinking culture. The walking tasting takes place in our three exhibitions: Sweden – Spirits of a nation, True Crime and Love x Attraction.
During the tasting, you will both learn about and taste Swedish history, from the 15th century until today. Why, and with what, did we start to season our vodka? How did people get hold of spirits during the prohibition era, and what happened to the launch of Absolut Vodka when it was forbidden to advertise alcohol in Sweden? These questions, and many more, will be answered during a thought-provoking and interactive hour!
Each exhibition includes a tasting of a period-typical drink that both enhances and frames your experience.
